OUR FOUNDER
Carlos Mora, Veternarian
Carlos Mora founder and CEO of the MY PET app is born and raised in Colombia, where he graduated as a country as a veterinarian from the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia in 2010. With over 10 years of professional experience, he then journeyed to the United States in 2021 in search of new challenges and opportunities.
From an early age, he always felt the necessary vocation to practice such a noble profession. Led by his natural empathy towards animals he owned and operated a veterinary clinic in his home country where he cared for countless furry companions in addition to working at a foundation dedicated to animal protection, where he learned the importance of safeguarding the well-being of all the creatures with which we share our planet.
Passionate about technology and innovation, he has continuously looked for ways to improve the quality of life of people and their pets. As a veterinarian and responsible animal guardian, he understand the challenges that come with responsible pet ownership first hand.
With the firm intention of simplifying the lives of pet guardians and improving the wellbeing of our furry friends, the idea of ​​creating a pet transportation app was born.
The My Pet app aims to facilitate the process of taking our pets to different establishments that offer associated services, while helping to reduce traffic congestion typical of large cities.
With a unique combination of experience in veterinary medicine, passion for technology, and commitment to animal welfare, Carlos Mora is devoted to making the world a better place for both people and their loyal four-legged companions.
